TELEPHONE
Frontier provides service for the cities and surrounding areas of Martin, Dresden and Sharon. All areas are served by Digital Switching Technology linked with over 100 miles of fiber optic cable.
Bell South provides service for the Gleason and Greenfield areas and have the latest in fiber optic and broadband technology.
INTERNET SERVICE
Broadband is available through Frontier (DSL), Bell South (DSL) and Charter Communications (Cable). Dial up is also available from several providers.
TELEVISION
Cable is provided by Charter Communication near the incorporated areas of Weakley County. Studios of WLJT TV, a PBS affiliate, are located on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus.
NEWSPAPERS
The Weakley County Press, published twice a week in Martin, and the weekly Dresden Enterprise do an excellent job in serving Weakley County. Both papers feature local news. In addition, The Jackson Sun (Jackson) and The Commercial Appeal (Memphis) are delivered daily. The Nashville Banner and The Tennesseean are also available.

RADIO
Weakley County is home to four radio stations. WCMT Radio, located in Martin, is privately owned and operates at 1410 AM and 101.3 FM. 1410 AM is a Contemporary Country, full service station with local news, sports and weather. 101.3 FM plays "Oldies"- 60s, 70s and 80s, and is a full service station with emphasis on local news, Weakley County sports, and UT Martin and UT Knoxville athletics. Also, WUTM radio, the University of Tennessee at Martin's radio station, can be heard on 90.3 FM.
